Description
Thai Hand-Painted Gilded Porcelain Benjarong Jar with gilded accents and multicolored pattern. The base reads "Hand Painted in Thailand". Benjarong is a special kind of design on porcelain wares in Thailand. The word "Benjarong" literally means "five colors", and the basis for Benjarong came from Chinese white porcelain introduced to Thailand in the 14th century. This jar measures approximately 3.75" tall with 2.75" diameter and is in good condition.
