Description
This is a framed print titled "The City of San Francisco - 1878, Birdseye View From The Bay Looking South-West". The map shows the "Boomtown" city of San Francisco in 1878 after it had undergone massive expansion after the Gold Rush earlier in the 1800s. The map was created by Charles Parsons and published by Currier & Ives. The map is displayed behind glass in a frame made of wood, featuring an angled inner edge with a thin black border around the print, with a wire on the back for hanging. The item measures approximately 32.5" L x 27" H. The map has some wrinkles and small, barely noticeable tears, and there are a few chips to the frame. Otherwise good condition.
