Description
T & R Boote Ironstone Brown Transfer-ware Serving Platter & Bowl in the "Lahore" pattern. T& R Boote Company existed from 1842 to 1906, and this pattern is from circa 1880. The aesthetic movement design consists of a variety of flowers, leaves, garlands, scrolls and geometric forms. Maker's mark is stamped on the base of each piece. The platter measures approximately 12.25"x 9"x 1.25" and the bowl 10.5"x 7.75"x 2". One side of the platter is a bit stained, otherwise good condition with some slight fading and age-appropriate wear.
