Description
Hans Richard von Volkmann was a German illustrator and landscape painter, associated with the Düsseldorfer Malerschule. This painting is called "Little Princess", and it depicts a young girl in a white dress seated in a clearing with a castle in the background. This painting is often paired with another painting depicting a young boy called "Lord Seaham" in the same setting. This painting is possibly from the early 1900s. The painting is placed in an ornate gilded frame that measures approximately 27.5" x 31.5". The painting is in good condition.
