Description
Lot of nine small mugs. There are two sets in this lot: five mugs are off-white and have the words "Tom & Jerry" in green. Stamp on the bottom of these says "Made in Japan". The other four mugs are the 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1976 "Child's Cups" made by Schmid Bros Inc. Maker's mark on the bottom of these is slightly different for each mug, but generally reads "The Original 1973 Child's Cup, Portraying an authentic painting By Sister Berta Hummel, Made in West Germany, (c) Schmid Mngt. 1972". These mugs are white with gold colored trim, each featuring a different image of a child as well as the year. The mugs measure approximately 3" tall with 3" diameter. The "Tom & Jerry" set of mugs does have some cosmetic damage to them as there are chips on the rims. The Child's Cup set is in good condition.
