Description
Vintage 1956 Howe Cast Iron & Brass Postal Scale with maker's stamp along with raised markings. The base is marked "Property of the U.S.P.O. Dept". There is a State of California sticker on the side which indicates the scale is from Contra Costa County. The weight capacity is 4lbs. Measures approximately 19"L x 7.375"H x 8"W with 8"x 7" weighing plate. There are signs of use and wear, mainly cosmetic damage.
