Description
Set of mid-century modern Murano art glass apple and pear fruit bookend sculptures by Alfredo Barbini. Made of heavyweight hand blown Murano art glass using the Sommerso technique featuring a transparent clear base with an orange color, Bullicante controlled bubble design and Aventurine subtle gold leaf fleck details. The set of two includes a pear (6" tall with 3.5" diameter) and apple (4"x 4.75"x 3"). Measurements are in approximations. Good condition.
