Description
This Gerber variable scale, model TP007100B, is a rectangular aluminum instrument designed for replotting curves and interpolating contour lines from observed data. Invented by Heinz Joseph Gerber in 1945 while studying aeronautical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, this tool was later produced by the Gerber Scientific Instrument Company. The instrument comes with a brown leather case lined with black velvet and measures approximately 12.75" L x 1" H x 2.5" W. The item is in good condition.
