Description
Native American Horn Dance Rattle decorated with hanging feathers and horse hair, and displayed in a wooden shadow box frame. Made from beads and small stones, the rattles were used in ceremonial dances and made the sound of buffalo running across the plains. The frame measures approximately 10.75"L x 24.25"H x 3.25"D. The shadow box is missing the glass panel and there is damage to one of the corners of the frame, otherwise good condition.
