Why an auction

  • Competing bidders set the priceA late bid extends the lot, so buyers compete to the end — not one buyer naming one number.
  • Everything on one statementAn itemized settlement showing what every lot sold for, paid within 30 days — instead of a disposal bill.
  • Buyers handle pickupBuyers pay through secure checkout and collect on scheduled pickup days while our crew manages the floor.

Common questions

What happens after we get in touch?

A real person reviews it and replies from hello@placerauctions.com with an honest read and next steps — a walkthrough, drop-off details, or a pointer elsewhere if auction isn’t the right home for it.

Do we need to sort, clean, or price anything first?

No. Leave the shop or warehouse as it stands — inventorying, research, photography, and pricing are our job. Bidders set the prices by competing.

We’re against a lease, escrow, or court date. How fast can this move?

Bring the date to the consultation and we build the schedule around it: cataloging, the bidding window, and pickup days all set so the space is clear when you need it.

Can you work with an attorney, trustee, or a bankruptcy matter?

Yes, regularly. We provide the documentation an estate, trust, or bankruptcy matter requires, coordinate access, and can run the whole sale without you on site.

Find out what it could bring

A free consultation gets you an honest read on the operation and a plan built around your dates — and every term goes in writing before the sale begins.
